The Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP) test was developed from vehicle operability data and demonstrates an acceptable correlation for fuels and vehicles on the market. There is no maximum regulatory limit for CFPP in Argentina’s regulations. This value averaged -13°C during the study period, with maximum values of -2°C found from 2011 to 2020.

Cloud point (CP) is the temperature at which the heaviest paraffins start to precipitate, wax crystals form and the fuel becomes cloudy. There is no limit for CP in the Argentine standard.
