Recently, SGS INSPIRE discovered that Malaysia's Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI) is set to establish the first hydrogen refueling station (HRS) in Peninsular Malaysia by early 2025. This initiative aims to support the adoption of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), including both passenger vehicles and public buses.
The HRS construction is in collaboration with Petronas, UWM, NanoMalaysia, and the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.
