Claire Couet, Business Development Manager at SGS Inspire addressed participants at the 22nd International Conference on Renewable Mobility, Fuels of the Future 2025, held on 20-21 January 2025 in Berlin, Germany.
In her presentation, she highlighted the critical role of the European Union’s ambitious climate agenda in shaping the future of road transport.
She noted that “The EU faces a pivotal decision: whether to expand the role of e-fuels and other renewable fuels in the decarbonization strategy alongside electrification. This decision could significantly influence the future of the European automotive industry and its ability to remain competitive on the global stage”.
