Kazakhstan: gasoline and diesel fuel prices state regulation ended

State regulation of gasoline and diesel fuel prices has been abolished in Kazakhstan. The Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan approved the corresponding Order On the recognition of certain orders of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan as invalid, which came into force on January 30, 2025.

According to the order published on the Open normative legal acts, the following became invalid:

1. Order of the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 2014 On approval of the list of petroleum products with established state price regulation

2. Order of the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan from May 19, 2015 On the establishment of maximum prices for retail sales of petroleum products for stationary gasoline
