Russian Federation: New oil refineries to be built in the Far East

Two projects for the construction of new oil refineries are being developed in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) of Russia's Far East. One of the projects is undergoing the investment justification procedure, and the future of the second project will become clear in the fall.

The first project, located in Sakhalin, is being implemented by Gazprom, a Russian state energy corporation.
