Ukraine: fuels quality update 2025

As oil refinery activities in Ukraine continue to struggle due to the ongoing war, there are limited knowledge on the actual fuel quality in Ukraine for both diesel and gasoline. The SGS Worldwide Fuel Survey had the last result for the country’s fuel samples available at the end of 2021 and is currently actively seeking ways to overcome obstacles to provide the analysis for these fuels. In the meantime, SGS INSPIRE provides insights on the quality of fuels based on expertise from an Institute of Consumer Expertise in Kyiv.

The Institute of Consumer Expertise in Kyiv, Ukraine, is a public organization and has been in existence since December 2003. The Institute aims to be an objective and independent entity to achi
