Aida Gonzalez Palomino
Chief Analyst, SGS INSPIRE

Aida manages content for SGS INSPIRE and leads its team of analysts. She is an expert in energy and transport policy.

Aida joined SGS INSPIRE in May 2019, as a market analyst responsible for the Americas region. She is an expert in energy-related issues, mostly fuel quality, electricity, transport and environment, and has 14 years of experience in consulting, policy development and market analysis in Europe and Latin America.

Prior to joining SGS INSPIRE, Aida was the energy policy director at the Spanish Photovoltaic Association, and an advisor at the European Electricity Association, where she did policy development work for renewable electricity, advising governments and industry. She was manager for Latin America at Hart Energy, where she covered fuel quality regulation and biofuel markets. She also worked as a project manager for a German photovoltaic company.

Aida has a master’s degree in Chemistry and several postgraduate studies in European law and project management. She holds an executive master’s degree in Business Administration and speaks Spanish, English, German, Dutch and French.

Botagoz Nurgali
Senior Market Analyst for the European Union area, SGS INSPIRE

Botagoz is in charge of research and analytical work related to EU policies and legislative developments in the EU Member States. She is based in Brussels, Belgium. Botagoz has 13 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with expertise in regulatory affairs and commercial management.

Prior to joining SGS INSPIRE, Botagoz worked in Chevron Kazakhstan, taking various roles in public affairs, regulatory and compliance, marketing, and transportation departments.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Institute of Oil & gas, postgraduate certification in marketing from the European School of Economics, and a master’s degree in clean technology management.

She also worked for SABIC in the Netherlands. She was responsible for analyzing opportunities and limitations for the company’s sustainable fuel strategy with regard to the recent EU regulations in the energy and transportation sector.

Business Development Manager, SGS INSPIRE

Claire is in charge of representing SGS INSPIRE in Brussels, as the capital of Europe. She contributes to the promotion of all SGS INSPIRE activities. She positions SGS INSPIRE market intelligence services with a broad range of stakeholders and works on expanding the client portfolio.

Claire joined SGS INSPIRE in July 2023, as a business development manager for Europe. She is an expert in EU public affairs and brings in 11 years of experience in campaigning in the areas of energy, climate and environment policies. Prior to joining SGS INSPIRE, Claire held the positions of Policy Director at the European solar industry association (SolarPower Europe) and Public Affairs & Communications Director at the European paper industry association (Cepi). Previously, she worked for the European Electricity sector as a policy advisor as well as public affairs consultant advising European and global companies in the energy and transport sector. Claire has a Masters Degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence (France) as well as a post-graduate certification in people management from ICHEC, Brussels Management School. She speaks French, English, Spanish and Italian.

Market Analyst for Europe and Eurasia, SGS INSPIRE

Daria recently joined SGS INSPIRE in March 2023 as a Market Analyst for CIS countries, Western Balkans and Turkey. She is an expert in fuel production, fuel quality regulation, and market analysis. Daria has extensive research experience in fuel production and development, including biofuels.

Before joining SGS INSPIRE, Daria was working in Academia in the field of novel approaches for the production of liquid fuels from biomass. She was researching synthetic biodiesel via catalytic hydrotreating. Daria holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Environment. She speaks Russian, English, Czech, Spanish, and German.

Dhanisha Juleemun
Market Analyst for Europe and Africa, SGS INSPIRE

Dhanisha joined SGS INSPIRE in April 2021 as a Market Analyst for Europe and Africa. Her expertise is focused on fuel product development for both diesel and gasoline vehicles across the globe, as well as forecasting the trend for new technologies in the energy sector. She has 8 years experience working in product development for fuels and lubricant; analyzing vehicle parc to design engine tests, assessing new additive chemistries, new trends in engine technology and fuel composition.

Before joining SGS INSPIRE, Dhanisha was a Technology Analyst at bp where she led the techno-economic assessment and impact of emerging technologies to shape the strategy for business growth. She also inputted key recommendations to the senior executive team, on how technology can reduce carbon emissions in outdoor farming to achieve net zero through bioenergy production. Prior to this role, she was the Fuel Technology lead for the introduction of bp E10 fuels in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, and China provinces. She has also delivered new bp fuel claims in Australia and supported the launch of fuels in new markets such as India, Indonesia, and Mexico.

Her previous roles at bp includes Marine Lubricant technologist and Analytical technician for lubricant development.

Dhanisha has a Master’s in chemistry and holds a Chartership status (CChem) by the Royal Society of Chemistry. She speaks English, French, Hindi and Mauritian Creole.
