Oxygenates
Results from the SGS Worldwide Fuel Survey (WWFS) indicate that ethanol is the principal oxygenate in use in Bolivia, found in 39 samples in the country between 2018 and 2022. There is no methanol content in the gasoline samples in Bolivia. However, 39 gasoline samples with ether content were found between 2011 and 2022 (a value of 7.4% v/v of total ethers was found in Santa Cruz in November 2011).
