Argentina consumes more gasoline than it can produce. Therefore, imports are needed, and SGS estimates a 12% decrease of the national stocks during 2023 compared to 2022, and of 8% during 2024 compared to 2023. However, ethanol production is higher than ethanol consumption, thus ethanol is exported.
