Light-duty vehicles

The Post New Long-Term Emission Standards were implemented for newly approved light-duty vehicles in 2009 and for all new light-duty vehicles since 2010. The standards are equivalent to the Euro 6 emission standards, with the certification testing conducted using the Japanese drive cycles.

From 2018, the exhaust emissions were tested using the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP).
