Actual quality

This section analyzes the actual quality of gasoline sold at retail stations in Egypt, based on the results of the SGS Worldwide Fuel Survey (WWFS). SGS took samples from retail stations in several cities, mainly in Cairo, Alexandria and Marsa Matruh. A total of 99 gasoline samples were collected and tested between 2010 and 2021. The figures below show the location of the sampling and the number of samples taken. The size of the bubble reflects the number of samples taken from that area.

SGS INSPIRE describes the following parameters: sulfur content, octane grades, octane enhancers, vapor pressure and hydrocarbons.
