Romania has 2,250 fuel stations, of which 403 belong to Petrom, owned by Austrian OMV, while Lukoil owns 310 stations. Rompetrol owns 395 fuel stations and is planning to increase this number in 2020.

In 2020, there were 1,074 LPG refueling stations, 434 electric vehicle recharging stations and 3 CNG stations. However, there were no hydrogen stations.
