Recent developments

At the end of 2022, Kuwait’s Clean Fuels Project, which upgraded its refineries’ capacity and capability to produce ultra-low sulfur fuels, was completed. Therefore, since January 2023, Kuwait’s refineries have been producing gasoline with a maximum sulfur limit of 10 mg/kg.
