Other alternative gasoline
In addition to ethanol in gasoline, the government also allows other types of alternative fuels to gasoline, including liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and compressed natural gas (CNG).
LPG used as fuel for vehicles (auto LPG) must meet the specifications set by the Department of Energy Business (DOEB) according to its notification dated April 22, 2016.
Regarding CNG, there are two grades of CNG for vehicles available on the market: regular and premium. CNG must meet the quality requirements of the DOEB notification dated May 7, 2018.
