Other oxygenates

Australia’s gasoline specification, the Fuel Quality Standards (Petrol) Determination 2019, does not set any limits for other types of oxygenates, except those which are metallic-based, alcohol and ethers.

SGS Worldwide Fuel Survey results showed some n-methylaniline (NMA) was detected in the 2017 and 2018 gasoline samples. In 2022, no NMA was detected in all gasoline samples.
