Algeria produces both gasoline and diesel. In 2022, Algeria produced all of its total gasoline consumption.

Gasoline consumption is shown in the figure below. It can be seen that gasoline consumption decreased about 15% in 2020 compared with 2019. This could be due to travel restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, that level of consumption has remained almost the same for 2021 and 2022.
