With Sudan’s phase-out of subsidies, the gasoline price increased from SDG 150 (USD 0.35) per liter to SDG 290 (USD 0.68), a 93.3% increase. Diesel increased from SDG 125 (USD 0.29) to SDG 285 (USD 0.67), an increase of more than 100% on June 2021. Gasoline prices in Sudan increased to USD 1.50/liter in March from USD 0.93/liter in February of 2022.
