Logistics and distribution
The Sudanese Petroleum Pipelines Company has been transporting petroleum products since 1976 by providing fuel through a pipeline from Port Sudan to Khartoum with a design capacity of 600,000 tonnes per year.
In Sudan, the major fuel suppliers include Oil Energy (100 gas stations), Matthew Petroleum, Petronas, and Nile Bakri Petroleum. Other smaller companies supplying fuels are El Methaq Petroleum Company, Greater Nile Petroleum Company and Al Traifi Petroleum.
