Quality monitoring
In May 2022, the Sudanese Ministry of Energy and Oil launched an investigation regarding gasoline non-compliant with official specifications found in fuel stations. A series of complaints about adulterated gasoline and malfunctioning vehicles has prompted this investigation.
The Ministry of Energy and Oil carried out some control tests on fuel stations and warehouses, including analysis on gasoline and vehicles.
However, there is no official fuel quality monitoring program in place.
