Water content
Resolution 40103, from April 7, 2021, sets a maximum limit of 0.2% v/v (2,000 mg/kg) for the water content in oxygenated gasoline in Colombia. This parameter averaged 745 mg/kg for regular gasoline and 1,003 mg/kg for premium (extra) gasoline.
Only one sample of regular gasoline was above the regulatory limit in Cartagena in 2012, with a value of 2,372 mg/kg, however, five samples of extra gasoline were above the regulatory limit between 2012 and 2019, with a maximum value of 4,400 mg/kg found in Cartagena in 2013.
