Volatility
Regarding the distillation recovered temperatures for gasoline in Argentina, which are related to the volatility of gasoline, samples complied with the national regulatory limit. Excessively high T50 can lead to poor starting and warm-up performance at moderate ambient temperatures. In the case of the final boiling point (FBP), seven samples were above the regulatory limit of 225°C between 2012 and 2019. The average temperature of distillation recovered 10% v/v was 52°C, distillation recovered 50% v/v averaged 84°C, distillation recovered 90% v/v was 155°C and FBP averaged 200°C.
