In Viet Nam, tanker trucks typically transport ethanol from the production facilities or import storage to the blending terminals.

To distribute E5 RON 92, Petrolimex invested in seven blending terminals with large capacity for distribution within a certain radius that can easily be accessed by waterways or pipelines. PVOil established 12 small capacity blending terminals across the country, to ensure sufficient supply for the entire distribution network of about 540 PVOil fuel retail stations and 3,000 fuel stations operated by general agents, agents and franchisees. Other companies own and operate between one to three blending terminals.
