Labeling

Based on the quality specification, there is only one diesel grade in Jordan. As such, the diesel fuel label at the fuel retail station only mentions “diesel.”

However, in the past few years, private companies have started selling ultra-low-sulfur diesel with a maximum sulfur limit of 10 mg/kg. To differentiate between normal diesel and ultra-low-sulfur diesel, the latter is then labeled as “Euro 5 diesel.”
