Biodiesel blends

Biodiesel blends are defined as diesel with a biodiesel content of more than 7% v/v. At present, two biodiesel blend specifications apply: B20 (diesel containing up to 20% v/v of biodiesel) and B10 (diesel containing up to 10% v/v of biodiesel).

Captive fleets and heavy-duty vehicles use these biodiesel blends. B20 is typically sold in summer and contains biodiesel in the 17-23% v/v range.
