Russian Federation: support and development of transport on gaseous fuels

The Russian Ministry of Energy, in line with the recently updated automotive industry development strategy, is revisiting its approach to support the development of gas-powered transport in Russia and to increase the consumption of compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG). The Ministry proposes to focus on supporting consumers instead of subsidizing the construction of new stations.
