Imports and exports
South Korea is a net exporter of refined petroleum products.
In the period 2014-2020, the country exported between 73.3 and 87.9 million barrels of gasoline. However, imports were very small. The highest import was in 2016 with a CIF (cost, insurance and freight) value of USD 89.3 million. In 2020, gasoline import value was USD 72,000 (CIF). The figure below shows exports and imports of gasoline in South Korea in 2014-2020.
