The aromatics content of gasoline in Libya has increased in 2019 compared to 2016, but results are still within the regulatory limit, which is 35% v/v. Olefins have significantly decreased from 2016 results to below 10% v/v, while the regulatory limit is 18% v/v. Benzene values are also very low, close to 0.6% v/v, which is below the standard that allows for a concentration up to 4% v/v.
