Quality specifications

Fuels sold in Pakistan must meet the specifications set by the country’s Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) in cooperation with other fuel stakeholders and released by the Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority.

The Directorate General of Oil, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, usually sets import specifications that are sent to OGRA, the Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan, and the Oil Companies Advisory Council.
