Ethanol blends
Singapore’s gasoline specification does not set any limit on ethanol in gasoline. As a result, oil marketing companies may add ethanol at any percentage, if the oxygen content of gasoline does not exceed 3.7% m/m. The 3.7% m/m is correlated with 10% v/v of ethanol in gasoline, if ethanol is the only octane enhancer used.
However, there is no separate specification for gasoline containing ethanol of more than 10% v/v.
