Imports and exports
Singapore does not have petroleum reserves and does not produce crude petroleum. However, the country is a net refined petroleum products exporter, thanks to its refineries.
In addition, Singapore is a petroleum and energy hub where gasoline is imported and re-exported. Data from the Energy Market Authority shows that in 2022, 376,790 barrels/day (b/d) of gasoline was imported and 661,320 b/d was exported. The figure below shows gasoline imports and exports from 2012 to 2022.
