Fuel specifications for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) are set by the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO).

The Directorate General for Standards and Metrology in Sultanate of Oman, an organization under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, approves and publishes GSO standards in Oman.
