Quality monitoring

Since 2019, SGS has been overseeing the production and distribution of all fuels in Oman on behalf of the state-owned Oman Oil Company (OQ).

In collaboration with the Omani government, SGS also monitors gasoline quality at retail fuel stations. Approximately 45 stations are inspected annually, where samples of RON 91 and RON 95 gasoline are collected and analyzed against the full set of specifications. However, the quality monitoring results are not available to the public.
