Taxes

No sales tax or value added tax is applied to fuels sold in Iraq. However, the Kurdistan Regional Government imposes a tax of IQD 25 (USD 0.00169)/tonne of fuel.

In addition, custom duty on imported goods, including petroleum products, is set at 5% of the cost, insurance and freight (CIF) value of the goods.
