Subsidy

Diesel sold in Iraq is indirectly subsidized by the government. This means that its prices are lower than in other countries, globally.

The Kurdistan Regional Government does not provide any special price structure for vulnerable citizens. However, fuel prices in the Kurdistan region differ depending on the location. Typically, diesel sold in fuel stations where vulnerable citizens are located, or buy their fuel, is usually cheaper than elsewhere.
