Renewable diesel mandate

As of July 19, 2024, South Korea has no renewable diesel mandate.

However, in October 2022, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) increased its biodiesel blending mandate for 2030 from 5% v/v to 8% v/v, of which 5% v/v will be fatty acid methyl ester and 3% v/v will be renewable diesel.
