Recent developments

On August 16, 2024, the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company announced 71% of Iran’s gasoline production will comply to Euro 5-enabling quality once the Shiraz refinery’s gasoline quality improvement plan has been implemented. Currently, the average daily gasoline production is 105 million liters. Of this, 68% meets Euro 5-enabling quality and about 28.4 million liters/day meets Euro 4-enabling quality.
