Labeling
While the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) regulates the petroleum industry’s retail outlets, under the “Technical Standards for the Petroleum Industry (Retail Outlets),” published in the Gazette of Pakistan No. M-302 L-7646 dated July 3, 2009, this regulation does not include labeling on fuel dispensing pumps.
Oil marketing companies usually label fuel dispensing pumps/nozzles based on the brand of the product they dispense. The image below shows an example of a fuel pump at a retail station in Pakistan.
