Kuwait’s Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC) oversees the country’s oil sector and sets oil policies. The SPC is led by the prime minister and comprises six ministers and representatives from the private sector.

The Ministry of Petroleum oversees the implementation of the upstream and downstream oil and natural gas industry policies.
