Quality monitoring

The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Quality (KPC) monitors fuel quality in Kuwait and reports to the Ministry of Oil. Fuel quality is monitored and certified at the loading point of the refineries, before being delivered to tank trucks and gas stations. All the parameters of the refinery specifications are controlled. There is no publicly available information about this national fuel quality monitoring. There is no control of fuel quality at the gas stations or other points in the fuel supply chain.

There is no third-party inspection of the fuel consumed nationally. Fuel destined for export is monitored when a third-party company is appointed by buyers to verify its quality and quantity.
