Taxes

The Kurdistan Regional Government imposes a tax of IQD 25 (USD 0.0169)/tonne of fuel. However, there are currently no sales tax or value added tax on oil and gas activities.

In addition, custom duty on imported goods, including petroleum products, is applied. It totals 5% of the cost, insurance and freight (CIF) value of the goods.
