Logistics and distribution

In Iraq, the Oil Products Distribution Company (OPDC) is responsible for the supply of fuels in the provinces under the Federal Government of Iraq (except in the Kurdistan region). At the end of 2021, the company has 1,352 fuel stations and 1,287 tanker trucks.

However, privately owned fuel stations are difficult to track as many are family owned, instead of being part of larger corporations.
