The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), which is made up of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, is discussing changes to the regulations setting mandatory exhaust emission standards for on- and off-road vehicles. However, for now, there is no indication that tighter standards could be introduced. There was also a discussion that vehicles corresponding to exhaust emission standards lower than Euro 3 could be subject to higher taxes, however, so far there is no progress on this legislation.
