Metallic additives
In the WWFS results from summer 2019, lead concentrations were compliant with the limits for leaded (0.40 g/l) and unleaded (0.013 g/l) grades in Algeria. Lead was not detected in any other African countries.
Manganese was detected in two out of five samples in Morocco, and in two out of four samples in Gabon. It was detected in all samples in Algeria, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Angola, Senegal, Mauritania, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. Manganese concentration is not limited in those countries. Iron was only detected in Algeria and Nigeria.
