Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine have the tightest quality requirements for gasoline. This is due to the finalization of the refinery upgrades (Russia, Belarus), increasing imports from Europe and the association agreements with the EU (Moldova and Ukraine) or the governments’ aim to reduce air pollution from road transport, like in Georgia.
