Octane

In the CIS region, we observed several incompliance with the RON number. Typically, these samples had low or high aromatics, olefins and benzene content, and non-existing MTBE. Some of these gasolines had a very high sulfur content and a low octane number. The figure below indicate the situation for the gasoline grade RON 95 which is the second most popular grade in the CIS region.
