Metallic additives

Since January 1, 2014, the presence of the metallic additive MMT in fuel is limited to 2 mg of manganese per liter in the EU. Western Balkans have implemented the same limit.

No other metallic-based additives are regulated in the EU, with the exception of lead, with a maximum limit of 5 mg/l.
