Hydrocarbons
Some African countries set limits on aromatics and/or olefins, as shown in the figure below. Limits on aromatics range from 35 %v/v to 60 %v/v, and limits on olefins range from 10 %v/v to 35 %v/v. The other 25 African countries have no limits on neither aromatics nor olefins.
Most African countries set limits on benzene, as shown in the figure below. Limits on benzene range from 1 %v/v to 5 %v/v.
